Heather Ridout is a company director with a long history as a leading figure in the public policy debate in Australia. Up until 30 April 2012, Heather was Chief Executive of the Australian Industry Group and served on the Reserve Bank Board from 2011 to February 2017.
Heather is Chair of AustralianSuper as well as a Director of Sims Metal Management – the world’s largest publicly listed recycling company, a Director of ASX Ltd and a Director of Image Networks Holdings Pty Ltd.
Her other appointments include member of the Boards of: the Australian Chamber Orchestra; Asialink; Advance Australia Advisory Board; L.E.K. Consulting Advisory Board, Note Printing Australia; RAND Australia Advisory Board and is a member of ASIC’s – External Advisory Panel.
Heather holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from the University of Sydney.
